I was just finishing up Towards the Terra, and it’s last episode glory and…

9 04 2009

Bam, SAT scores arrived. So I went from a particular hope for mankind sort of euphoria, towards a more stressful sense of despair. I didn’t do too badly, scored only around 1800, a bit higher, only enough to complete fairly in the University of Washington, of which I am happy about.

As for Towards the Terra, I highly recommend buying the DVD’s (or borrow them from me if ya want), they’re 20 dollars a part from third-party resellers down at Amazon.com. 2 DVDs (8 eps) a part, and 3 parts, totaling to 24 episodes, in the end I was tricked into buying what’s basically a box-set anyways. 2.0 Stereo Japanese only with Subtitles and no English dubs. Is it worth buying? I’ll leave that up for you to decide, but it’s probably one of the best anime series they had in the last few years, even if it’s a remake from something from the 90s.

My pet bird just died.

12 02 2009

His name was Neophilia, and he a long time inhabitant of his bird cage. It’s been handed down once already. However, I do not feel like I can stomach a third death. I’m calling bird rearing quits.

Neophilia was a Blue Parakeet nicknamed “Neo”
I’ll upload an image as soon as I can get on my dad’s laptop for where all the family photos are.

Not Exactly sure where I went wrong though. But I can take some guesses.
1. Expensive bird food everywhere, fred meyer had a sale on one that was already cheap but it was all sold out. So didn’t buy.
2. Fed bird pellet food that was about as old as he was, but he couldn’t eat alot of it in one sitting.
3. Hadn’t cleaned cage for around three weeks.

Errg, I feel so bad. Anyways, I was glad that I came home in time to witness his seemingly insensitive to pain death, since he looked pretty much numb. But I also cringe at the fact that last night, I could’ve saved him when he acted all Hikkikomori (huddled up to the corner of the cage and just sate there).

Migration Planned

24 01 2009

I’m planning on setting up a new blog at blog.traversiancomlog.com, trying to be pro and design my own layout on CSS at the very same time, but unfortunately, I don’t know much PHP, so it’ll be a first time for everything.

No Longer certain if Del Rey manga is to Publish .Rakkyo

7 01 2009

http://mainichi.jp/enta/mantan/news/20071130mog00m200083000c.html

This page, according to the wiki, is supposed to state that Del Rey Manga has licensed rakkyo to be published in America, however, it can no longer be accessed. Also, I couldn’t confirm the plans on their official website, although Maid Machinegun looks pretty interesting…

Sora o ….. Munto…

1 01 2009

What seems to have happened after Kyoto Animation was rumored to be making 801-chan anime, and after lucky star alot of big-name figures left and did Kannagi, KyoAni decided it was time to make one of their earlier animes (before Air and Kanon 2006), the supposed trailer looked like the animation hasn’t been improves and not up to date, but it may have just been the original Munto trailer. Munto is the main character and is voiced by Ono Daisuke, but I haven’t read the synopsis thinking it would spoil it for me, since I do plan to watch it (haven’t seen the originals). Oh, and it’s called “Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai”.

And that’s it, their latest excuse to push Haruhi 2 until later on. It’s still TBA (To be announced).

December 20th; it’s my friend’s birthday today!

20 12 2008

So basically, Fate|Unlimited Codes came out. It’s awesome, but some of the characters share some parallels with Melty BLooD characters, which can be sort of annoying if you catch my drift.

A week or so ago, I went to Uwajimiya, and there was a pastry labeled “kokutou” it was like a brown sugar wheat cake or something and I thought I would save it for watching garan no dou this weekend…. as in probably today.

Oh, and I finished an anime series; something that I haven’t in a very long time.

I built a snowman two days ago, but yesterday, I went there to check if it was still there, and it wasn’t…. kinda weird huh? I got the idea that rolling up a snowball to make a snowman would be fun from that Episode of Aria the Natural, where Alicia and ….. the main character… Akari rolled a snowball through a town, and everyone wanted to help out with the snowball as it got bigger.

But either I didn’t get it big enough, or it just doesn’t work like that, but in any case, it’s labor that’s pretty hard on the back after a while, perhaps get a friend. But it was fun though, sort of like katamari damancy, without a time limit, and the ability to pick out wacky stuffs.

Also, for my AP Environmental Sciences program, I’m gonna cheat, and put in that article where he ate whale and said that “Scientific whaling is delicious”.
